Guo Jiayi， girl from Changsha's high school wins gold medal in EGMO

On April 16, the 13th European Girls Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) ended in Georgia. Guo Jiayi from the High School Attached to Hunan Normal University won the gold medal with a ranking of sixth. Guo is the only student in Hunan to win a gold medal in the competition.

The European Girls Mathematical Olympiad, created in 2012, is the world's most influential international mathematics competition for high school girls. Guo's gold medal in the competition reflects the fact that the High School Attached to Hunan Normal University values the cultivation of outstanding innovative talents in girls’ mathematics.
