湖南8所高校跻身2026软科世界大学学术千强，中南大学位列全球83位

The 2026 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) has been released. The Chinese mainland has 234 universities on the list, ranking No. 1 worldwide. Eight universities from Hunan have made the cut. Central South University is placed 83rd globally, up 13 places year‑on‑year, firmly within the world's top 100. Multiple Hunan universities have made remarkable leaps in rankings, with three local universities among the world's top 500.
